ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking to strengthen our capable and committed team with an experienced and result focused B2C eCommerce management professional.
Your primary responsibility is driving sales and revenue.
You will be responsible for owning the entirety of the website and facets, ranging from the day-to-day running of the website and its content to pushing forward and developing the “big picture” projects that will deliver a fresh and new approach to the marketplace.
You will work closely with our platform providers, suppliers, stakeholders, and colleagues to accomplish their goals in an effective manner.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In more detail you will focus on the following:

* Maintenance - You will be responsible for maintaining all facets of the Trekitt eCommerce environment, from landing and product pages through to basket checkout functionality
* Product data management – You will ensure that all product data is correct and present on the website in keeping with Trekitt’s high standards
* Visual Merchandising – You will be responsible for the layout and visual aesthetic of the website, and it’s key landing pages and seasonal initiatives
* Development - You will develop and further the eCommerce environment, ensuring we are moving forward in a positive and relevant fashion, paying attention to emerging trends and directions of the marketplace
* Customer Journey Success - You are to hold the customers shopping experience at the forefront of your goals
* Sales and Revenue – You will be accountable for overall sales and profitability of the eCommerce environment
* The Team - You will organise, inspire, develop and co-ordinate your team to work effectively
* Stakeholder Relations – You will be working closely with stakeholders to ensure the continued, smooth development of the eCommerce environment
* Reporting and Communication - You will present and attend meetings within the business and Frilufts/Fenix group on a regular basis

WHO YOU ARE

For this challenge, you will bring at least 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced eCommerce business and a Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
You have hands-on experience in managing and maintaining eCommerce websites, proven knowledge of eCommerce including website development, competitive strategies, industry trends and usability.

* Organised and Diligent – Display the ability to plan, organise, prioritise, and meet multiple deadlines
* Live the Outdoors - A passion for the outdoors and a real understanding of the brands and the needs of outdoor users (including climbers, mountaineers, trekkers, walkers, and adventure travellers)
* Knowledgeable – Of eCommerce best practices that are proven to increase revenue and sales conversions
* Understanding – A strong grasp of Google ads (PPC/SEM), Google shopping and SEO practice, as well as web design, technical functionality, and an ever-present eye to detail
* Savvy - You are comfortable with software, including Microsoft Office, Teams, Excel, Google Analytics, social media platforms, email marketing platforms and Adobe Creative Cloud
* Forward Looking – You will have your finger on the pulse of eCommerce with an eye on the future and any opportunities it presents
* A People Person - Enthusiastic, hard-working, and able to motivate, enthuse and engage your team and colleagues
* Communicator - You communicate positively, professionally, and effectively
* Collaborative – Possessing a proven track record of successfully working with partners and stakeholders to achieve common goals and objectives
* Flexible - You are willing and able to travel for work when necessary
