Job Title: Senior Care Assistant Nights
Salary: £15.46ph plus incentives
Hours: Full Time (7.30pm-7.45am, 3–4 shifts per week including alternate weekends)
Location: Orchard Court Care Home, Brigg, DN20 8DL

About Orchard Court Care Home
Orchard Court is located near the centre of Brigg. The home is set around a former coaching inn which has been selectively extended in keeping with its character, providing homeliness while offering modern living accommodation. The home provides personal care including dementia care for 39 residents.
Role Responsibilities
* Providing the highest possible levels of care in supporting and assisting residents in all aspects of daily living.
* Promoting resident independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, and promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing with input during shift handovers.
* Leading your shift to ensure high standards are maintained, and other team members feel supported.
* Completing daily medication rounds and documenting consistently without errors, ensuring daily charts are completed to a high standard by all team members on all shifts you lead.
* Promoting good practice in all aspects of care and challenging poor practice from other team members. Ensuring one‑to‑ones for all care and support team members are done every two months and investigating complaints and concerns as directed by the Home Manager.
Role Requirements
* Relevant Professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3).
* Minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant in a residential/nursing home setting.
* Awareness of the principles of Person‑Centred Care Planning.
* Understanding of prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults, recognition of signs of abuse and procedures to follow in the event of an allegation of abuse.
* Residential within 30 minutes of the Home.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Leadership and people skills.
* A caring and nurturing attitude.
* Positive and enthusiastic outlook.
* Time management skills.
* Written and oral communication skills.
