Overview
Support Worker – Wirral – Pay Rate – £12.22 per hour
Typical Shifts are: Day Shifts 7am – 3pm, 9am – 3pm or 10am – 5pm; Late Shifts 3pm – 10pm followed by a sleep in.
Responsibilities
* Support individuals to gain more independence in their daily lives within a dynamic team.
* Enhance the lives of the people we support by teaching new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging community access, socialising and participating in activities.
* Engage in activities such as outings to local bars/pubs, gaming, films or cinema as part of daily routines.
* Promote confidence and independence to help individuals meet their goals (e.g., cooking dinner, planning holidays).
* Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and apply reflective practice as part of service delivery.
* Work with individuals requiring enhanced support, including those with behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and trauma.
* Hold a full UK driving license and be resilient, flexible and composed in approach.

* Experience and values aligned with the role and service mission.
* Ability to work within a supported living service in Wirral.
* Commitment to safeguarding and delivering person-centred support.
