Role Information
As a Maths Tutor, you will support learners in developing their maths skills and confidence, guiding them towards nationally recognized qualifications. You will work with a nationwide team, creating tailored learning experiences and receiving support from specialists and vocational managers. This part-time role involves 28 hours per week.
DUTIES:
* Deliver engaging GCSE and Functional Skills maths sessions.
* Assess learners' starting points and development needs.
* Plan and deliver tailored learning experiences.
* Complete Individual Learning Plans with SMART targets.
* Handle administrative tasks like registers and reviews.
* Collaborate with colleagues to support retention and achievement.
* Ensure assessments meet organizational standards.
* Participate in team activities and meetings.
* Promote safe working practices and safeguarding.
* Engage in continuous professional development.
* Create inspiring learning environments.
Other responsibilities include promoting equality, complying with policies, maintaining professionalism, and providing support to learners and colleagues.

Qualifications:
* Qualified Maths Tutor (minimum L3 specialism)
* At least 2 years of GCSE/FS teaching experience
* Teaching Qualification (L3)
* Driving Licence
