Main duties of the job

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team of Consultant Radiologists to help us provide comprehensive, efficient, and high‑quality radiological services, with plenty of opportunities to develop services in your sub‑specialist area.

The post is offered at 10PAs, with opportunities for additional insourcing if desired.

Your role will include contributing to relevant Multi‑Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, which will be appropriately job‑planned.

On‑call duties involve participation in the general diagnostic rota, currently operating at 1 in 9, with plans to transition to 1 in 10. There is no requirement for interventional on‑call duties.

While this is a full‑time position, we are happy to consider applications from candidates wishing to work part‑time. The job plan will be tailored in consultation with the Care Group Clinical Director and the Clinical Lead in Radiology to ensure it aligns with both the services needs and your preferences.

As a Trust, we are committed to supporting our Consultants' professional development and revalidation. SPA time will be incorporated into your job plan to ensure you have the resources and time required to meet these obligations.
