Job Title: HR Manager - Manufacturing - Cookstown
Are you an HR Officer looking for the next step in your career? MCS Group is excited to be working with a growing manufacturing company, recruiting for an HR Manager to join their dynamic team.
Overview
As HR Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out all HR functions, aligning with wider business goals and strategies. In this standalone role, you will have the opportunity to improve company performance and employee experience through HR processes.
Main Responsibilities
1. Take ownership of core HR administration, including onboarding, exit procedures, document management, and maintenance of employee information on the HRIS. Respond promptly and professionally to related queries.
2. Drive end-to-end recruitment activities, from talent sourcing and candidate interviews to extending offers.
3. Manage graduate and apprenticeship schemes, working closely with academic institutions to attract emerging talent.
4. Partner with leadership on talent strategy, including performance review frameworks, feedback cycles, and initiatives to enhance staff development and retention.
5. Manage Learning & Development programmes, planning and delivering training aligned with business goals. Coordinate with internal and external trainers to support employee growth.
6. Provide support in employee relations, including managing absences, resolving grievances, and advising teams on HR policies and compliance.
7. Support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives, contributing to CSR efforts and fostering a positive organizational culture.
8. Collaborate with senior leaders on strategic HR projects to align HR practices with company objectives and improve operational performance.
9. Identify skill gaps and workforce needs, recommending recruitment or internal development solutions for long-term capability planning.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in a similar HR role within a relevant industry.
* CIPD certification or working towards it.
* Degree in HR Management or a related field is advantageous.
* Competent in using HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
