Internal Vacancy - National Account Manager (Transport Division)
Location: National (with hub oversight and regular travel required).
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + benefits + performance bonus (DOE).
The Recruitment Crowd (TRC) are continuing our ambitious growth within the Transport & Logistics Division and are seeking an experienced and commercially minded National Account Manager to take ownership of one of our largest national clients. This is a senior role, responsible for driving growth, overseeing service delivery across multiple hubs, and acting as the key contact for senior client stakeholders.
The Role:
Reporting directly into the Head of Transport & Logistics, this role will be pivotal in ensuring TRC’s national client relationship remains strong, strategic, and future-focused. Responsibilities include:
* Account Ownership: Acting as the lead point of contact for a major national client, managing relationships at senior level and ensuring alignment with TRC’s growth strategy.
* Hub Oversight: Overseeing operational performance across multiple hubs nationally, ensuring service delivery, compliance, and account stability.
* Strategic Growth: Driving forward growth plans, identifying opportunities to expand services, increase volumes, and add value across the account.
* Client Reviews: Preparing and presenting performance data, leading senior-level review meetings, and being the recognised face of TRC for the client.
* Operational Support: Working closely with Account Managers and the wider team to ensure hubs are adequately resourced and supported at all times.
* National Presence: Providing on-site support across hubs when required, balancing high-level account management with hands-on oversight.
Key Requirements:
* Proven track record in account management within the recruitment, transport, or logistics sector, ideally at national or multi-site level.
* Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with demonstrable experience in driving account growth and profitability.
* Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills, confident in presenting at senior client level.
* Flexibility to travel nationally as required to provide on-site presence and support.
* Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a 24/7 operational environment.
Hours:
* Monday to Friday with flexibility required to meet the needs of a national client and 24/7 operation.
* Out-of-hours work will be required when necessary to ensure continuity of service.
