Day Care Assistant Location: Chorley, Lancashire Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £13.45 per hour Overtime £14.95 per hour Annual Salary: £26,926 per year Hours: 38.5 hours per week, 8am - 8pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday About the Role: Evermore Care is seeking compassionate Day Care Assistants to join the team at Astley View, our new, state-of-the-art care home in Chorley. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative environment. Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens. Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality. Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care. Experience Required: Previous experience working in dementia or residential care settings. Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team. Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.
