Estate Services Operative (Cleaning)
We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Estate Services Operative to join our Property Operations team. You'll help keep our estates clean, safe, and well‑maintained, ensuring a great environment for all residents.
What you'll do
Clean communal areas including stairwells, lifts, floors and windows
Maintain refuse/bins areas and carry out litter picking
Remove bulk waste and fly‑tipping (including hazardous materials when required)
Report repairs, issues, and any health & safety concerns
Carry out basic estate duties such as gritting, minor repairs, and graffiti removal
Use scheduling software to record daily tasks
Drive company vehicles (vans / tipper trucks)
What we're looking for
Full UK driving licence
Valid DBS Certificate
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather
Good basic literacy and numeracy
Experience in cleaning, facilities, or estate services (preferred)
Willingness to follow all health & safety policies and use PPE correctly
Desirable
NVQ in Cleaning or Environmental Services (or willingness to complete during probation)
