Our clinical support patient facing administration workforce is vital to our organisation, without them our front-line Doctors, Nurses and Allied Health Professional cannot deliver the excellent care to our patients we strive for. As a support to our clinical workforce within the Divisions you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hospital wards.

Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to become part of a friendly team of ward clerks based within the Surgical Emergency Unit(SEU). The successful applicant will be asked to work within SEU F-side, where they will be required to work weekday shifts as part of the administration team to ensure the smooth running of SEU.
The post holder will provide excellent customer care that demonstrates a caring and responsive approach to those attending the hospital, be able to accurately record and input data into the Trust's EPR system in a timely manner and file departmental records containing sensitive patient information while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
The post holder will also provide a high quality, comprehensive and professional administration service in support of the clinical activities undertaken on the Surgical Emergency Unit.
You should enjoy communicating with a wide range of people, be highly organised and have a flexible approach to work. Attention to detail and good keyboarding skills are essential.
