Key Responsibilities:
* Set a clear, B2B focused and agile business strategy, to deliver growth in sales and profit, especially in the long run both in store and online.
* Be extremely analytical and data driven in decision making.
* Keep abreast on any changes in consumer demands and direct competition.
* Develop a clear sourcing strategy to ensure the supply of quality products that meet the customer needs.
* Manage supplier relations and negotiation to develop high performing sustainable partnerships.
* Cultivate a long termed and customer centric mentality.
* Communicate closely with various departments to ensure key issues are addressed.
* Proactive in aiming to improve efficiencies and reduce overheads at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
* Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
* Strong and successful negotiating skills.
* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
* Attention-to-detail with strong strategic planning and organisational skills.
* Strong desire and willingness to learn.
