The Vehicle Buyer role offers a competitive basic salary of £40,000 with an excellent OTE of £50,000, presented as an ideal career move for talented professionals in the motor trade.

3. Monday to Friday working hours, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm

Key duties of the Vehicle Buyer role:
7. Monitor vehicle availability through online platforms, auctions, and live sales channels to secure the best deals
8. Negotiate and purchase vehicles over the phone from private sellers and trade partners
9. Check and verify new stock, ensuring accurate valuation of optional extras
10. Analyse market trends to optimise purchasing decisions
11. Manage the disposal process of vehicles to trade customers
12. Conduct vehicle valuations to maximise profit margins
13. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
14. Confirm vehicle authenticity by checking for outstanding finance, accident history, or theft records
15. Ensure all vehicle purchases meet legal and company compliance standards
16. Undertake additional duties as identified by management
Candidate requirements for this Vehicle Buyer role:
17. Proven previous experience within the motor industry, ideally as a Buyer
18. Strong passion for cars and industry knowledge
19. Excellent negotiation and communication skills
20. Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
21. Data-driven approach with strong analytical skills
22. Meticulous attention to detail with regard to vehicle valuation
23. Confident decision-making skills and objection handling
24. Full UK driving licence with a clean record
