Job Overview
Priory Hospital Dewsbury is seeking a part‑time/ full‑time HR Resourcing Lead (30 hours per week; full‑time considered at £28,041 per year) to manage HR operations and support the hospital team. The role is based in Earlsheaton, West Yorkshire. The Lead will be part of the Senior Management Team, providing strategic HR advice across the site.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide advice, guidance, and support to senior management on HR policy interpretation and implementation, ensuring consistent employment practice.
* Manage the HR workflow, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all HR administration processes.
* Lead a small team of HR & Resourcing Administrators and drive recruitment and onboarding activities for the hospital.
* Screen candidates for interview, coordinate onboarding in line with Safer Recruitment policies, and support candidates through the onboarding process.
* Ensure compliance with KPIs for mandatory training, DBS renewal, professional accreditation, and monitoring of mandatory training targets.
* Lead the annual Employee Engagement Survey and facilitate regular YSF (Your Say Forum) staff meetings, reviewing and advancing action plans.
* Adhere to absence management policies, support managers with short‑ and long‑term absences, and provide advice as required.
* Maintain accurate employee documentation and coordinate investigations, grievances, and other HR processes, offering consistent guidance to managers.
Qualifications & Experience
The role requires strong HR knowledge, experience managing HR workflows, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and team leadership. Effective communication, relationship building, and a commitment to best HR practices are essential.
Additional Information
* Part‑time: 30 hours per week; full‑time considered at £28,041 per year.
* All roles are subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Access NI or Disclosure Scotland. Priory will cover the cost of the DBS check.
