Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Location:Southwest, Wales and Southern England, UK
Salary: GBP 40,000 : GBP 45,000 Basic, Uncapped Commission (OTE c GBP 75k), Company Car, Phone, Laptop, Company Pension Scheme, Incentivising Holiday Allowance, Death in Service Benefit, Full Product Training.
We are looking for a driven, relationship:focused sales professional for our Area Sales Manager opening. Within the role of Area Sales Manager, you will promote both new and used machinery sales across Wales, the Southwest of England, and the Southeast territory.
Responsibilities Of The Role
Managing and growing sales of new and used construction machinery
Developing long:term relationships with contractors, construction hire businesses, and end users
Identifying new opportunities and converting leads into profitable business
Preparing quotations, negotiating deals, and closing sales
Working closely with service and parts teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience
Keeping up to date with market trends, competitors, and product developments
Requirements Of Role
Proven experience in field sales (construction plant, powered access, agricultural, material handling, forklift truck, or capital equipment)
Strong territory planning skills, with the willingness to travel
Must be a team player
Hold a UK driving licence
