Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist teachers in planning and delivering high-quality lessons.
2. Lead small group sessions and provide one-on-one support to students.
3. Cover classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring continuity of learning.
4. Support the development of individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
5. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
6. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student development.
7. Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
8. HLTA qualification or equivalent.
9. Experience working in a primary school setting.
10. Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
