Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced Caretaking Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, security, and safety of our buildings and facilities.
Based at Beechwood School in Slough, you will join our Facilities Management team, responsible for routine maintenance, managing repairs, enforcing security protocols, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. The role involves working Monday to Friday, with shifts between 6AM and 6PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Key responsibilities
* Manage delivery of all services within schools according to contract SLAs, ensuring smooth operations and high standards of maintenance, cleanliness, security, and grounds.
* Conduct regular inspections of school buildings, log reactive maintenance requests, and coordinate appropriate actions.
* Familiarize yourself with all plant within the school and understand the workings of the BMS system.
* Manage staff and workload effectively, addressing performance issues and providing basic training and record-keeping.
* Ensure staff understand the proper use of substances and maintain the COSHH register accordingly.
Key Requirements
* General handyperson skills, including DIY, minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
* A friendly and approachable personality.
* Ability to liaise with and assist external service providers.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
