About The Role
At Salvation Army Homes, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive, good quality housing services, support and resettlement.
Working with single women who have recently experienced homelessness or have been at risk of homelessness. Taking a strength based approach to help our residents develop skills and resources to transform their lives and so they can move on and live more independently.
The Deputy Manager will be an integral part of the team, working with staff and residents to build support plans tailored meaningfully to meeting the needs of the women we support.
The service houses 15 residents for up to 2 years.
Your main duties will be to support the Service Manager in overseeing the effective and asset-based delivery of services to ensure the people living there are safe, secure and provided with a range of person-centred learning and development opportunities to develop their skills and enable them to reach their potential.
About The Candidate
You will instinctively work in a manner that aligns fully with Salvation Army Homes values and behaviours to create a culture where people utilise an asset-based approach to empowering people to develop their skills, strengths and talents. With a good knowledge or experience of working with homeless people and / or supporting vulnerable young people, you will have a good idea of the wider community resources and organisations available to support our residents Benefits of working as a Service Manager:
