Senior Functional Specialist This role acts as the strategic consultant and liaison between a service line/department and D&T to determine the business issues and recommend solutions to drive business value. Leverages in-depth consulting skills and business knowledge to develop strategic roadmaps and define D&T solutions to meet business objectives and support revenue growth or operational excellence. Responsibilities Acts as a visionary for a service line or department and their D&T solutions. Develop an integrated D&T roadmap to execute on this vision. Acts as the single point of contact (SPOC) between the service line/department and the CBRE CIO's office for budgeting, resources, and implementation of the D&T vision. Acts as SPOC and champion for enterprise-wide D&T initiatives that impact the service line. Conducts solid stakeholder and risk analysis on key issues. Develops D&T risk assessments and risk mitigation plans. Weighs alternatives and considers service and business implications of decisions related to applications, vendors, and outside consultants. Monitors budget and leads the budgeting processes for annual planning activities for the area of focus. Develops strategies for adjusted courses of action. Works with D&T to establish operational objectives for teams of professionals supporting the D&T platform. Implements policies and defines approach to strategy achievement for the area managed. Acts as executive sponsor for the service line/department initiatives. In this capacity, establishes project charters for D&T initiatives which will include project scope, system requirements, timeline, budget, deliverables, and dependencies. Provides authoritative advice to top leadership based on deep subject matter expertise. Works with the CBRE CIO and Service Line/Department Executive team to refine and implement an D&T-project governance process. Person Specification Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or Master's degree in a related field of work or equivalent work experience. Typically has 8 plus years of related experience and/or training. Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
