Head Veterinary Surgeon. Up to £85,000. £5,000 welcome bonus
An opportunity has arisen for a confident and forward-thinking Head Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at our rapidly growing practice in Scunthorpe. This is a unique opportunity to help expand a growing business by bringing your ideas to life. You’ll become a crucial part of a small, friendly team of 1 Vet (studying for a certificate in advanced surgery), 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 VCA, 2 Client Care Advisors and a Practice Manager, all committed to the practice and our clients.
Responsibilities
* Lead the veterinary team and oversee clinical operations at Scunthorpe Vets4Pets, including routine surgical and medical cases and comfort with sole charge.
* Contribute to practice growth by implementing ideas to expand the business and support continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with a small, dedicated team to deliver high standards of care and client service.
* Be flexible with hours (full or part time), with Saturdays on a fair rota; no on-call, no OOH, and no Sundays.
* Support ongoing development with a generous CPD allowance and funded certifications; interest in surgery is beneficial but not mandatory.
