About you
Ideally, you will have experience in pension or financial administration, as well as an understanding of the Local Government Pension Scheme. Knowledge and experience of data and reconciliation is essential, along with the ability to speak confidently to senior members of staff and our employers.
About The Role
Working on the Data Control Team you will be responsible for ensuring the data held for all employers and scheme members is accurate. You will identify errors with and gaps in the data and work with employers to correct the information held. You will be required to manage your own workload, working as part of our busy pensions team and on your own projects, if required. The main tasks include:
* Verifying data at year end so members receive accurate pension statements
* Identifying gaps in data and planning to obtain this data
* Working with other areas of Avon Pension Fund to improve and maintain data quality
* Assisting team members and other departments with data queries.
* Allocating work to team members and supporting them with this work
