An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a high-profile infrastructure project in Burton Green, Warwickshire. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in civil engineering and experience on major highways or infrastructure schemes.
Role Overview:
As Senior Engineer, you will report to the Site Agent and be responsible for managing engineering activities on site. You will oversee site and trainee engineers, ensuring all works are delivered safely, to specification, and in line with programme timelines.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead engineering on-site with a focus on earthworks, drainage, utilities, and barriers
*
Oversee reinforced concrete structures and ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications
*
Implement and monitor site HSEQ standards and contribute to safety culture
*
Manage design assurance including permanent and temporary works coordination
*
Produce and manage ITPs, RAMS, TQs, MARs, and quality handover documentation
*
Use BIM and field management tools (e.g., Fieldview, Dalux) to track and manage progress
What We're Looking For:

Civil Engineering qualification (Degree/HNC or equivalent)
*
Proven experience in a Senior Engineer role, ideally on highways or heavy civils projects
*
Strong knowledge of CDM regulations, temporary works, and highways specifications
*
Proficient in engineering software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.)
*
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
*
Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence
*
SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely preferred
