Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting for a Class 2 (Category C) Driver to carry out bulk wood pellet deliveries to commercial and residential customers. This is a full-time, secure role with full training provided and strong long-term prospects for the right candidate.
£37,000 Basic | OTE £40K+ | Weekly Pay | Full Training
The Role:
1. Deliver bulk wood pellets to domestic and commercial delivery sites
2. Operate manual Class 2 tanker-style vehicles in line with company procedures
3. Ensure the vehicle is safe, roadworthy, and compliant at all times
4. Load and discharge product safely, following site-specific delivery processes
5. Obtain customer signatures and provide a professional, customer-focused service
6. Identify and report unsafe delivery conditions promptly
7. Work pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a winter Saturday rota
8. Overtime available and expected during peak winter season and as required throughout the year
Pay & Benefits:
9. Basic salary £37,000
10. OTE £40K+ with overtime and seasonal enhancements
11. Weekly PAYE pay (holiday pay included via advanced holiday payment method)

What You’ll Need:
13. Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
14. Confidence driving manual gearbox vehicles (essential)
15. Valid CPC and Digital Tacho cards
16. No minimum experience required — full training provided
17. Clean licence preferred (up to 6 points accepted)
18. Strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service
19. Willingness to work overtime during peak winter demand and support nearby depots when required
