We are seeking an experienced and motivated Conference & Events Operations Manager to join our team. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth delivery of conferences, exhibitions, and events, maintaining the highest standards of service and client satisfaction. Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day running of event operations and lead and develop the event team to deliver outstanding service.
* Manage people, health & safety compliance, financial performance, and client relations, while driving operational excellence and supporting growth.
* Take ownership of the planning of events, liaising with internal departments to meet all event needs.
* Drive customer satisfaction initiatives and provide detailed feedback to continuously improve service.
* Uphold company standards, policies, and values, ensuring operational excellence at all times.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, finance, logistics, and HR, to achieve shared goals.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company regulations, embedding a strong safety culture.
* 3-5 years\' experience in a demanding hospitality, events, or food & beverage environment (essential).
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
* Strong client and customer focus with a passion for service excellence.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt, innovate, and lead through change.
* Collaborative, enthusiastic, and solutions-focused approach.
* Experience in retail, conference & banqueting, or stand catering operations.
