Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – Manchester - Primary School
Are you a Psychology graduate with a passion for supporting young children with special educational needs? This welcoming primary school in Manchester is offering a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils with additional needs in a nurturing environment. This role is perfect for a recent psychology graduate looking to pursue a career in educational psychology, child development or primary teaching!

*** £90 - £100 per day
*** September 2025 until July 2026
*** Ofsted “Good” Primary School, Manchester
*** Supporting children with special educational needs across EYFS, KS1 & KS2

The Role
In this role, you will work closely with the school’s SENCo and teaching staff to provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs. You’ll support individual pupils on a 1-2-1 basis, lead small group interventions, and help to implement tailored strategies that enable children to engage fully in classroom activities. You will be supporting pupils with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and emotional regulation challenges.

This opportunity is ideal for a Psychology graduate who is interested in a career in educational or clinical psychology, teaching, or SEN support. You should be patient, compassionate, and proactive, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young learners.
