Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an ICA Reliability Engineer to join the Asset Health & Performance Team at Yorkshire Water and help provide the best service to our customers. The team focuses on measuring asset performance and implementing improvements to ensure asset efficiency and resilience.
As an ICA Reliability Engineer, you will help develop and monitor processes that provide asset performance information over the life cycle of assets, demonstrating reliability, resilience and sustainability to meet customer and stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities
* Main function: review ICA assets performance and reliability data to identify critical assets/risks to the business and instigate RCA’s for short, medium, and long-term issue resolution; work with stakeholders to ensure recommendations are implemented in a timely and safe manner.
* Develop, implement, and optimise asset-specific ICA equipment monitoring measures.
* Review operational events where ICA issues may have affected outputs against desired operating parameters.
* Propose improvements to ICA asset performance and resilience, collaborating with other teams within Asset Delivery.
* Follow asset technical practices and standards as defined by the YW Principal ICA Engineer.
* Monitor and report on the effectiveness of ICA assets.
* Develop, implement, and maintain key reliability improvement processes across the Yorkshire Water ICA asset base.
* Provide documented evidence of improvements and savings and highlight risk to the business.
* Ability to integrate PLCs for faults.
What skills & qualifications you will need
* An Engineering Degree / HND with relevant ICA maintenance experience (ideally apprentice trained)
* Significant knowledge and application of reliability improvement techniques and practices
* Broad experience with ICA equipment maintenance
* Extensive experience of SAP S4 CMMS
* Experience of supporting and embedding change
* Electrically qualified for safe access into control panels

* Proficiency in Excel / Power BI / Pivot Tables
* Current valid driving licence and flexibility to travel across the Yorkshire region
