* Supporting and motivating others working within multi-disciplined teams
* Delivering high quality, high integrity code (eg RTCA-DO178C) using object-oriented C++
* Hands-on integration working within a lab environment on target hardware
* Implementation of real-time embedded software applications built upon Linux or VXWorks RTOS (Desirable)
* An understanding of the Software Engineering lifecycle from requirements elicitation to delivery and release.
* The ability to influence the development approach considering design principles, modularity and reuse, best practice, toolchain, and much more.
