Job Summary
The Body Technician Apprentice increases the efficiency of the store by following a systematic approach to all repairs. Properly dismantling the vehicle, including blend panel trim parts, ensures the complete listing of parts and labor for collision damage, which can be identified early in the repair cycle. The Body Technician Apprentice must be highly organized and maintain excellent documentation to minimize losses. They must be able to read and understand estimates to ensure that the parts used match the vehicle's requirements. Any incorrect items should be documented on the supplemental damage sheet and communicated immediately, especially when repairs are halted or during daily 1-on-1 walkabouts with management. Participation in daily production and release meetings is essential to provide key information to managerial staff.

Occupational Qualifications
• Physical Requirements: • General physical skills including carrying, lifting (up to 100 lbs), standing, sitting, walking, reaching. • Valid driver's license required. • On-the-job exposure to fumes, dirt, chemicals/toxins, hazards, heat/cold, and noise.
