Our client is a respected and values-driven housing organisation, providing a wide range of housing and community services across the UK. With a strong reputation for supporting tenants and delivering sustainable housing solutions, they are now looking for an interim finance professional to support their housing operations through a period of transformation and change.
Description
* Take ownership of housing budgets, delivering accurate monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
* Lead on housing financial reporting, providing clear insights for senior stakeholders.
* Manage month-end and year-end processes, ensuring compliance with statutory and organisational deadlines.
* Develop and maintain robust financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting timetables.
* Support regulatory reporting requirements, including returns to the Regulator for Social Housing.
* Review and improve financial processes to strengthen efficiency and control.
* Partner with senior leaders to support strategic planning and service delivery.
Profile
* Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Strong technical accounting knowledge with demonstrable housing or social housing finance experience.
* Proven ability to produce high-quality reporting and financial analysis.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and support non-finance stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Job Offer
* 6-month FTC - potential to be extended.
* £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
* Hybrid working - 2 days onsite per week.
