This role plays a key part in supporting the growth, confidence and capability of colleagues across our Children’s Homes, Young Adult Provision and Foundation teams.**\*Must be a driver due to remote location near Newbury\***| | || --- | --- || **Key information:** | || **Salary:** | £29,000 - £31,500 || **Hours:** | 37.5 hours per week || **Contract type:** | Permanent - full-time |### The role of Learning & Development FacilitatorYou will contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality, classroom-based training, while also providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our training programmes. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will help maintain compliance with all training requirements and champion a culture of continuous learning.* Deliver high-quality, face-to-face training sessions (e.g., Team Teach, Safeguarding, IPC, Welcome to Prior’s Court) and collaborate with trainers and subject matter experts to shape course content.* Support recruitment and assessment activities, including interviewing Autism Practitioner candidates and contributing to medication assessments while maintaining occupational currency.* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the L&D team, including scheduling, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate training records and compliance data.* Coordinate training logistics, such as creating registers and evaluation forms, processing training data via PI, and liaising with managers to book staff onto required sessions, including Education Training Week.* Assist with departmental operations, purchasing activities, and contributing to the development and maintenance of processes and procedures.* Foster strong communication and collaboration, engaging with internal and external networks, representing the L&D team professionally, attending meetings, and ensuring all work aligns with the Foundation’s values and vision.**What we are looking for*** Experience & Expertise: Minimum 2 years in a care or health and social care setting, with experience delivering training sessions; medication administration currency desirable.* Education & Qualifications: GCSE-level education (or equivalent) and a Level 3 Diploma in a care-related subject, with willingness to study further; Diploma in Education and Team Teach Tutor status desirable.* Skills & Knowledge: Strong organisational, communication and IT skills; ability to work independently and under pressure; high attention to detail; understanding of relevant legislation; must be a grey-fleet driver; problem-solving skills desirable.* Personal Attributes: Empathetic, proactive, adaptable and professional, with a commitment to learning, flexibility in working hours and confidence communicating with diverse stakeholders.Please read the full for further information.### BenefitsWe know that our people are central to everything we do.
