Responsibilities
Reporting to the ECS Senior BI Developer, responsible for maintaining and developing clinical information reporting solutions, including:
* Developing reports using Power BI
* Supporting the ePCR database
* Managing data flow into the database
* Creating SQL Server Reporting Services reports
* Generating ad hoc reports with various tools
* Maintaining local reporting tools
* Configuring using the Supplier Admin Tool
* Managing system access and permissions via the Supplier Admin Tool
This role requires specialist technical knowledge to support and maintain clinical reports and systems that meet organizational requirements.
Representation
Represent the team, department, directorate, and Trust at internal and external meetings, ensuring strategic projects consider clinical data, research, and audit, and that decisions affecting the department are communicated effectively.
Feedback
Provide feedback to Medical Directorate Managers and senior staff, identifying issues impacting the Business Intelligence system's performance.
Requirements
Work closely with Clinical Information & Records and Research and Audit Teams to manage clinical data flow and support reporting needs, including:
* Using clinical data and systems for problem solving and decision making
* Supporting Electronic Care System releases by testing and feedback
* Managing the SQL Server Integration Services package for data import
* Administering the clinical database
* Developing reporting tools to meet information needs
* Applying risk and governance knowledge in report development and data use
