Title: Partnerships Associate – Global Travel Rule (GTR)
Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
Type: Full-Time
Team: GTR – Regulatory Compliance and Partnerships
Reports to: Likely the GTR Product or Business Development team
What Is the Global Travel Rule (GTR)?
* Binances GTR is a messaging protocol built to ensure VASPs (Virtual Asset Service Providers) comply with FATF’s Travel Rule and AML regulations.
* It enables secure transmission of Originator and Beneficiary information between crypto businesses.
* Launched in 2022, Binance’s GTR acts as a crypto-native SWIFT-like network, bridging TradFi compliance expectations with Web3 platform needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver external presentations to educate and onboard other VASPs and third parties.
* Support the onboarding and technical integration of new GTR participants.
* Handle vendor due diligence requests from prospective or current members.
* Assist with go-to-market (GTM) activities such as market surveys and product rollouts.
* Provide continuous feedback to improve the GTR product based on partner needs and market trends.
* Experience: 1–2 years in compliance, business development, or product roles within a crypto exchange or regulated VASP.
* Bonus:
* Experience in RegTech SaaS or compliance tools.
* Familiarity with FATF Travel Rule and related regulation.
* Institutional client/account management or B2B sales experience.
* Must-have:
* Knowledge of crypto exchanges and the Web3 landscape.
* Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
* GTR is central to Binance’s regulatory compliance strategy, making this a high-impact, high-visibility role.
* Understanding of compliance infrastructure in crypto.
* Experience in institutional relationship management.
* Knowledge of cross-border regulatory trends.
* This role is a strong entry point into RegTech, compliance strategy, or business development leadership in Web3.
