Position: UK Sales Manager (Food, Beverage, Bakery, Sport & Nutrition) Location: UK Salary: £55K - £60k basic + bonus + comp car/car allowance Company: Chemicals Distributor The Role: • Undertake activities within but not exclusive Food & Beverage market areas. • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone / email with both existing and new products in allocated territory; • Identifying new potential customers within agreed territory in line with business focus. • Developing relationships with new potential customers in person and via telephone / email with both existing and new products. • Identifying key decision makers/influencers within each customer. • Identifying needs with each customer and selling solutions based on technical & commercial knowledge. • Identify range of products to take to market. • Agreeing budgets (sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales) in line with business plans. • Reviewing sector performance against budget on a monthly basis and presenting during internal sales meetings. • Identifying gaps within the product range and working to identify appropriate sources. • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information. • Record, analyse, report and administer in accordance with company procedures • Manage all opportunities for pote...
