Clinical Administrator (Neurodevelopmental Service)
Salary: from £23,879 - £28,659 (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 per week on site with working from home flexibility
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two experienced administrators to support the Neurodevelopmental Service within the Outpatient Services division at St Andrew's Healthcare. This charity provides specialist mental healthcare services in partnership with NHS, voluntary, educational, and research organizations to improve the lives of people with complex mental health needs.
The neurodevelopmental assessment service offers autism and ADHD assessments for children, young people, and adults throughout the Midlands.
Role and Responsibilities
* First point of contact for service users via phone and email, ensuring professional and courteous communication.
* Typing, audiotyping, minute-taking, preparing presentations, compiling statistics, and handling general correspondence/documents.
* Managing waiting list inquiries, with experience in inclusion criteria to assess referral suitability.
* Formatting and creating NHS letters and reports, both narrative and data-based.
* Utilizing Microsoft Office, Excel, and other software proficiently.
* Organizing service user and clinician assessments, ensuring support arrangements are in place.
* Collating development history, liaising with service users/parents, clinicians, GPs, NHS commissioners, and creating rotas.
* Working with various IT systems to store patient information securely, including maintaining electronic records on RiO.
* Ensuring core documents and records are up to date.
* Contributing to the production of monthly and quarterly contract reports.
Candidate Profile
You will be customer-focused, professional, detail-oriented, and capable of building productive relationships. Flexibility, the ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and deliver high-quality administrative support are essential.
