Community Interest Care is looking for Community Companionship Assistants to join our Replacement Care Team. If you are driven to make a real difference in your local community, if you care about people and if you are willing to help provide high quality care to people in your community who need help and support, we'd love to hear from you.

We offer competitive rates of pay and fully paid travel time and mileage at 45p/mile.

As a community companionship assistant your main duties will include:

* Accompanying the client to a medical appointment or activities; such as dog walking, social outings and hobbies.
* Companionship: communicating with and taking an interest in client's needs. Engaging in hobbies or activities in the client's own home.
* Helping with household tasks, including, doing weekly shopping, food preparation and assistance with meals.

We're looking for kind, compassionate and naturally caring Individuals who have a real passion for caring for others. No experience is needed as full support and training will be provided on the job. We do ask that applicants have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.

Welsh language skills would be beneficial, but not essential.

All applicants will have full support and mentoring right from your application stage. We also provide full basic care training and will support you further if you wish to complete additional qualifications in care. Community Interest Care will cover the cost of your registration with Social Care Wales (where required) and provide all your uniform and PPE.

Job Types: Part-time hrs a week initially, additional hours may be available. This role has potential to be flexible and fit around other commitments.
