The Shop Manager sets the tone for the shop, creates an entertaining environment that customers love, leads the team to reach store targets, and provides full operational support and direction. You will ensure the customer experience is best in class and promote our online and retail products and services. How you’ll do it: stay customer-oriented by building strong relationships, crafting an enjoyable environment, mentoring your team to deliver excellent customer service both face to face and over the phone, and cross-selling retail and online products and services. You will also ensure adherence to shop procedures and social responsibility commitments.
Responsibilities
* Set the example and lead your team to achieve high standards and collaboratively reach store targets.
* Provide operational support and direction to the team and maintain shop presentation standards.
* Mentor and give constructive feedback to drive progression and training for the next level of their careers.
* Deliver excellent customer service face to face and over the phone; cross-sell retail and online products and services.
* Build strong relationships with customers and the local community; gain local market insights.
* Adhere to Social Responsibility commitments and all shop operational procedures, including cash management.
