Your role in elevating the East Midlands As Recruitment Lead, you will play a central role in attracting, selecting and developing the talented people who will deliver this transformation. From building recruitment marketing campaigns with agency partners, and driving diversity initiatives to shaping workforce and succession planning, you will ensure EMCCA has the skills, leadership and capability it needs for the future. This is a role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless candidate journey from talent attraction, to on-boarding and beyond, providing a high-quality service for candidates, employees and managers alike. You’ll also help with broader HR administration duties such as payroll and rewards, making sure every aspect of recruitment and resourcing reflects EMCCA’s values and ambitions. Key responsibilities include: Delivering expert guidance or technical insight on complex issues to improve service outcomes and add business value. Working independently within established frameworks, planning monthly activities and contributing to longer-term improvements. Taking ownership of complex, escalated issues, resolving problems and driving process enhancements. Collaborating and influencing across the organisation, using technical expertise and strong communication to engage and motivate others. Ensuring high-quality, timely outputs, operating with autonomy and accountability within clearly defined responsibilities. Developing talent pipelines through apprenticeships, graduate schemes, secondments and internal development opportunities. Monitoring and reporting on recruitment performance, providing clear insights into metrics and supplier outcomes. Developing a direct-sourcing model, bringing recruitment in-house to ensure efficient and future-proof processes. Your profile: With a professional qualification in Human Resources (e.g. CIPD Level 5), or equivalent, you'll have demonstrable experience in recruitment, onboarding and HR operations together with a strong understanding of UK employment laws. Experience of developing policies, procedures, templates, and guides. Good team working, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal colleagues and external partners. Excellent organisational skills, with experience of successfully managing multiple priorities and working at pace. Attention to detail and pride in your high standards. Proven ability to achieve goals and overcome challenges. Proficiency in using Ms tools, HR / recruitment software and related systems.
