Job Description
My client is looking to appoint a Concrete Plant Supervisor on a temporary basis, which for the right candidate, will go into a permanent role.The role is based in Motherwell and the client is looking for the successful candidate to supervise and operate a RMX plant.Duties include
* Carrying out general housekeeping duties
* Managing contractors that visit the site
* Operate the concrete batching plant, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
* Receive, process, and check raw materials (cement, sand, aggregate, water, etc.) ensuring accurate proportioning and stock levels.
* Oversee the batching process to ensure accurate mixing and delivery of concrete.
* Carry out necessary tests and quality control measures on the concrete mix.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including daily housekeeping and maintenance of the batch plant and equipment.
* Undertake regular safety checks and inspections of the batching plant and equipment.
* Maintain detailed records of batching activities.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
* Must have experience of running a ready-mix concrete plant
* Experience of concrete batching
* Experience of Contractor management
* IOSH Health and Safety Qualification
