An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, highly motivated, enthusiastic practitioner with relevant unscheduled care qualifications and experience to join the team in Nairn. The team, based in Nairn Town and County Hospital, are responsible for providing a minor injury and out of hours service for the communities of Nairn & Ardersier supported by local GPs. This service is delivered in the MIU/PCEC and via telephone triage.
The post holder will work a range of day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts often as a sole practitioner with medical advice being available by telephone from adjacent areas as required. Applications are sought from practitioners (registered nurses/paramedic practitioners) with advanced skills in unscheduled care. Non-medical prescribing qualification desirable but not essential.
