Summary: Are you an experienced in house recruiter? This will initially be a 12 month fixed term contract to support the growth of our team. This is a great opportunity to boost our team's talent, bringing in a wider range of people for both permanent and temporary roles, and making our resourcing smarter and more efficient. You'll work closely with our HR Resourcing Manager to deliver recruitment to support our growth. You'll need to know your way around different types of recruitment, always aiming for best practice, and keep an eye on industry trends to make sure we\'re giving candidates a great experience and finding the best people for the job.
Responsibilities
* Work with the HR Resourcing Manager and Hiring managers to choose the best course of action and comprehend hiring requirements. At each stage of the hiring process, offer advice and assistance to hiring managers, candidates and agency partners.
* Assist the HR Resourcing Manager with end-to-end hiring by performing all administrative tasks. Write and post job advertisements on job boards, social media, and career websites.
* Organise and complete the paperwork and new hire checks required to satisfy legal and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain records for the hiring processes.
* Respond regularly to candidates\', agency partners\', and hiring managers\' emails, calls, and posts.
* Set priorities as needed to ensure the function is successful.
* Use social media platforms, CV databases and professional networks to source new talent. Conduct searches, message candidates to proactively source talent. Be proactive in utilising talent pooling opportunities to reduce costs.
* Plan and coordinate the hiring procedure, which may include phone interviews, tests and assessments. Provide recruiting managers with a shortlist of qualified applicants. Schedule interviews and communicate clearly with all parties. Help arrange and oversee smooth onboarding of candidates.
* Use recruitment practices that boost South East Water\'s talent while promoting equality, diversity, and inclusivity.
* Monitor macro and micro market developments and industry trends; identify areas for process and service improvements.
* Manage open positions and applicants through all stages; ensure recruitment data and software are updated accurately and on time.
* Recognise different worker categories and the rules and procedures that go with onboarding to ensure compliance.
* Update applicant information in HR information systems; support fast, accurate data reporting to inform decisions and drive improvement.
* Maintain awareness of current legislation and regulatory commitments to meet corporate social responsibilities.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience
* Educated to A-Level or equivalent is essential
* Verbal and written communication
* Highly organised
* Ability to prioritise
* Proven experience working within Recruitment, Talent Acquisition or similar position
* Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruitment
* Familiar with social media, CV databases and professional networks
* Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (Workday)
* Awareness of different selection methods used to measure suitability
* Experience with candidate onboarding processes
* Experience working with external agency partners and managing relationships
Desirable
* CIPD Level 5 or degree in Human Resource Management is desirable
* Copy writing skills

Compensation package: Starting from £31,000 + bonus
