Our client is an Engineering company based in the West Manchesterl area and they require a skilled Manual Turner to join them on a permanent basis. The role requires the use of manual lathes in the workshop to produce parts related to breakdowns and refurbishments, manufacturing new parts using manual lathes with the specified material to high tolerances. You must have good manual turning skills and be able to thread cut, tapers, bearing tolerances, circlip grooves all to achieve accurate replacement parts. You will from time to time be required to visit sites around the Liverpool area to measure up and manufacture replacement parts so you must have a driving license. The hours oh work are Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4pm and Friday 7.30am - 3pm. The basic salary is up to £37,500 and there is regular overtime and other great benefits.
