Dispatch and Warehouse Operative
We are currently looking for a Dispatch and Warehouse Operative to join our picking, packing warehouse team for our online website and shop.
This is a great opportunity to join a busy company with a friendly team.
You are primarily responsible for ensuring that the orders are picked and packed accurately and match to the customers order. You need to ensure the items are not damaged and correctly packaged ready to be dispatched.
Previous picking and packing experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided in all aspects of the role.
Please only apply if you are physically fit as the role involves using ladders, lifting and carrying stock and boxes, replenishing the shelves, unloading deliveries of boxes/ pallets.
IT knowledge and the ability to use a computer is essential as you will be required to use our sales system for the picking/ packing and checking stock in.
Training will be provided for all aspects of this role.
The your working day will be fast-paced and your day will fly by
Duties will include:
* Picking and packing
* Checking deliveries into the warehouse
* Light to medium lifting required
* Goods in & out
* Sorting and grading used clothing
* Booking stock in & onto our stock control system (computer)
* Stock control
* General warehouse work and cleaning of the warehouse
You will have:
* Literacy skills (essential)

* Ability to prioritise your workload and multi-task
* Can work under pressure
* IT skills (training provided on our systems)
* The ability to work as part of a team and independently when required
* Flexibility required to work extra hours and weekends if needed
Hours:
Monday-Friday. 9am-5pm (30 min lunch break).
Salary:
The starting salary will be the National Living Wage as a minimum.
This will be reviewed after the applicants introductory period (3 months).
