Job Description
3. Provide expert legal advice and guidance in the field of banking law.
4. Handle diverse transactions across sectors such as technology, media, telecoms, energy, life sciences, healthcare, and hotels. We work with a wide range of clients, including major banks, alternative lenders, private equity sponsors, and technology start-ups, and focus on fintech investments, emerging technologies like AI and blockchain, and multi-jurisdictional deals.
5. Responsibilities include multi-jurisdictional lending, acquisition finance, embedded finance transactions, and advisory work.
6. Stay abreast of changes in banking law and regulation.
7. Contribute to the development of legal strategies and policies.
8. Contribute to the training and development of junior team members.
9. Participate in business development activities to grow the company's client base.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Banking Solicitor should have:
10. Between 2 and 6 years experience in transactional banking law
11. Proven expertise in banking law.
12. The ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team environment.
13. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
