Due to increasing demand, Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisors to support our partner Welsh-medium secondary schools in Newport and the surrounding areas. Whether you're a recent graduate, a teaching assistant ready to step up, or someone with experience working with young people—we provide full training before you start working in a school.

What is a Cover Supervisor?
A Cover Supervisor plays a vital role in maintaining continuity of education when teachers are absent. You’ll be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons, managing behaviour, and creating a positive learning environment.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Delivering set lessons to pupils across various subjects and age groups.
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
* Communicating effectively with staff and students to support the learning process.
* Acting as a positive role model to all students.

Who Can Apply?

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
