PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Archers is Radio 4's flagship drama strand and the longest running continuing drama in the world. As a content assistant on The Archers, you'll be an integral part of this much-loved institution. Whether supporting logistics, formatting scripts or assisting with casting your role will be pivotal in getting the show on air.

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
* Support production logistics and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
* Format and manage scripts with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Assist with casting, liaising confidently with writers, actors, and agents.
* Contribute to studio recordings, including managing timings and schedules.
* Collaborate closely with a small, busy team to deliver high-quality output.
Essential Criteria
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Knowledge of radio production techniques and studio operations.
* Strong verbal communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Confidence in dealing with writers, actors, and agents.
* Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and IT skills.
* Interest in the arts and enthusiasm for drama and knowledge of The Archers.
