Tax Manager or Senior Manager – Central or North West London – Top 100 Firm

Tax Manager/Senior Manager responsibilities include:
1. Managing a portfolio of clients including individuals, sole traders, partnerships, and trusts
2. Dealing with high-net-worth individuals
3. Inheritance tax and lifetime planning
4. Advising on reliefs such as BPR
5. Shares schemes such as EMI and CSOP and their implementation
6. Treatment of expenditure for corporation tax purposes
7. Capital allowances and the use of allowances such as the Annual Investment Allowance
8. Stamp Duty Land Tax and ATED, as well as the available reliefs from these taxes
9. Income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax planning for non-UK domiciled individuals
10. Income tax reliefs such as loss relief and pension relief
11. Identifying and developing new business opportunities using existing relationships or building new ones
12. Training junior team members
As a Tax Manager/Senior Manager, you will be/have:
1. CTA or ACA (and STEP) qualified
2. Over 7 years’ personal tax experience
3. Experience managing a large, varied client portfolio including directors of owner-managed businesses, property clients, HNWIs, landed estates, non-UK domiciled and non-resident clients
4. Extensive personal tax advisory experience
5. Experience working with complex clients and managing client relationships
6. Experience managing a team
