Description and requirements

We are currently looking for a Senior Planner who will be working in the Building Operating Unit to lead the building planning function across the full project lifecycle, from early planning and construction through to final commissioning, handover, and occupation on design and build projects.
Role location - Initially Moorgate, London; relocating to Slough, Berkshire where the role will be site-based 5 days/week.
As the Senior Planner, you will:
1. Lead and coordinate the planning process for the building and infrastructure elements of the project, providing a proactive and professional service to the planning and project teams in line with the project planning and programming strategy.
2. Contribute to the development and ongoing management of the project planning and programming strategy.
3. Support the management team in preparing method statements that meet project requirements and delivery objectives.
4. Manage the preparation, maintenance, and ongoing update of all project programmes, including the Master Integrated Programme and programmes for Design, Procurement, Construction, MEP coordination, Commissioning, and Handover.
5. Monitor progress against programme and contribute to the preparation of accurate internal and external progress reports, ensuring timely and professional communication with project leadership, the client, and other stakeholders.
We are looking for:
6. Demonstrable experience of the successful delivering of the planning function on London Commercial related design and build projects.
7. Experienced in delivering within live operational sites.
8. Excellent working experience and knowledge of Primavera P6 planning software and experience in other software, such as Asta PowerProject.
9. Demonstrable experience in leading the planning function on all phases of a project from design to construction and handover.
10. Valuable to have experience in delivering the planning function on FIDIC forms of contracts across a range of project types and values.
11. Advantageous to have experience of Datacentre projects.
12. Ability to obtain security clearance to required level.
13. Ability and willingness to work across Greater London and Slough.
