Lunchtime Supervisor – Special Needs School – Lewisham
Monday to Friday, 11:30am – 1:30pm Term‑time only
Start date – ASAP
We are recruiting a reliable, caring and proactive Lunchtime Supervisor to join a welcoming special needs school in Lewisham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive difference in a supportive school community. This is a Primary SEND school.
About the Role
You will be part of the team responsible for ensuring pupils have a safe, enjoyable and structured lunchtime. The role includes:
1. Making lunchtimes safe, happy and structured
2. Supporting pupils in the dining hall and playground
3. Encouraging play, social skills and positive behaviour
4. Assisting children with additional needs
5. Being a friendly, reliable part of the school community

6. A warm, patient and approachable manner
7. Confidence working with children, ideally including those with special educational needs
8. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
9. Reliability and a genuine commitment to pupil wellbeing
