As the UK’s leading retailer of home furnishings, Dunelm continues to grow and so does our incredible team. We’re on the lookout for a passionate and driven Zone Manager - Weekends to join our Stoke Distribution Centre, where you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Shifts include - 9am - 9pm Saturday and Sunday. Two 8 hour shifts in the week to which the days can be negotiated.
What you'll be doing
* Plan to succeed – ensure that the Zone is capable of delivering the businesses requirements at all times
* Work with Shift Managers to understand service level for Zone and create plans for continuous improvement
* Ensure that house‑keeping standards are maintained to a high standard
* Lead – every moment of every day, motivate, reward and engage your team
* Ensure that the team have clear direction and are fully engaged in delivering the businesses objectives
* Engage with the team by developing and continuously improving communication, team building, training and the people plan
* Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and embraced
* Manage the Zone like it’s your own business
* Has a “Can do” mentality which makes challenges, opportunities
* Drive a continuous improvement plan which delivers results and supports a change culture
