Job Description
This project is led by the Cambridge Sustainable Design Group within the Department of Architecture. It collaborates with the Department of Plant Sciences and industry partners. The position is funded by the UK Space Agency NSIP and supports cutting‑edge research in TIR earth observation for urban decarbonisation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting analysis of TIR imagery and satellite/drone data for decarbonisation studies.
* Developing machine learning and AI models to predict heat transfer and overheating in built environments.
* Assisting in the design and execution of field experiments and data collection.
* Contributing to publications and project reports.
