About the Role: As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll work closely with the Management Team to deliver high standards of physical, emotional, and social care tailored to individual needs. You'll act as a role model for junior staff, contribute to care planning, and help promote independence and dignity in a safe and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support residents with daily personal care and emotional wellbeing
Review and contribute to individual care plans
Administer and manage medications (as authorised)
Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
Supervise and mentor care staff and junior team members
Maintain high standards of hygiene, nutrition, and safeguarding
Accurately document observations, updates, and progressWhat We're Looking For:
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (required)
NVQ Level 3 or willingness to complete it (desirable)
Experience in a care setting, ideally with older adults
Strong communication, organisation, and team skills
Compassion, patience, and a practical mindset
A commitment to upholding dignity, choice, and respectBonus Points: Manual Handling, First Aid, and knowledge of medication processes
